The VOLINTIRI WINERY is located in the Volintiri commune, an ancient village with an age almost as old as our country. It is said that the village has existed since the time when the great Bogdan family ruled at the head of the country, around 1420.
The Volintiri commune, formerly known as Bebei hamlet, is a large and well-known village hidden somewhere in the Bugeac Steppe. It is a place where simple and traditional people live. Here, in the nooks of the village, the 'nightingale of Moldova,' the renowned opera singer MARIA BIEȘU, spent her childhood. In 2014, the VOLINTIRI WINERY emerged in the locality, founded by Mr. Malachi Nicolai Avram, a former collective farm president. In honor of the village, which became a second home and family for the Malachi family, the "Crama Volintiri" wine collection was created.
Today, the "Vitisvin Volintiri" LLC winery is a thriving family business led by the founder's son, Vladimir Malachi.
The "Crama Volintiri" collection currently includes four types of wine, crafted from old traditional recipes using Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viorica grape varieties.
The winery is at the beginning of its journey but has grand and ambitious plans for the future. The "Crama Volintiri" collection is just the first step on this challenging path.
At this very moment, intense work is underway to produce collector's wines made from selected grape varieties. Rest assured that the new collection will hit the market very soon. One thing will remain unchanged - the high quality of wine made with passion and love at "Crama Volintiri".
Because at "Crama Volintiri" every drop is a story.
